I cannot say it enough! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO KINYON. The principal, SUSAN SWEET is a very mean spirited person. The counselors and special education staff do not have the patience to help with children with special needs and do not honor IEPs nor do they understand how to properly prepare one. My child had the most traumatic Kindergarten experience here.

If your child requires more attention or help or has special needs wouldn’t recommend. My child got suspended four times after her iep was in place because they couldn’t get my kid the help she needed because they didn’t have the resources and claimed she didn’t need it..than just pushed her out and sent her home everytime she had a bad day..wanted her to conform didn’t try to reach her where she was at..teacher just wasn’t adequate in the helping autistic community or understanding and in turn the school year was rough. They said she had issues controlling herself but wouldn’t provide an aide which is what she needed but she “wasn’t a danger” but instead of providing what she needs she just got sent home and I got called. Good school if you have neurotypical kiddos maybe if they’re not problematic and don’t struggle. Bad school for neurodivergent kids that have issues being still or focusing for long times or simply process stuff differently.
