9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderful. My daughter has attended this school since grade K. Teachers are wow, excellent. The building, classrooms, play equipment, ect. are in top notch condition and managed well. Parents are very active in volunteer roles at this school. "Year Round" is misleading, school starts August 1 (4-weeks earlier) but otherwise ends with the rest of the Lake Orion School District in mid-June. The short 6-week summer helps my daughter carry-over what she learned into the next grade without needing any review time. The short 6-week summers also help my wife and I afford daycare/daycamp. Location is AWESOME, close to I-75 when you need to get by the school going/coming from work. I really wish the entire school district would get on this "Year-Round" schedule! It is a life saver for working parents, the kids all benefit from a longer learning cycle and fun-focused intersessions, and shorter summers. Look at the grades and test scores. Carpenter Elementary is consistently in Top 2% of all schools in Michigan! It is a role-model for all schools to follow, a privelage to be a part of. I am a proud parent and supporter of this wonderful school and highly recommend for all K-5 children.Parent Review13y ago6 Reviews - Good Shepherd Lutheran School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSuperb school that has made a push to put themselves on the top tier academically. Great teacher/student ratio combined with a more traditional and rigorous curriculum has made this school more desirable than surrounding schools. As a public school teacher, I highly encourage you to look at this school for your children.Other Review12y ago1 Reviews - Shalom Baptist Church School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe feel very grateful to be part of the Divine Grace Lutheran School community. My kids are in first and fourth grade, and they’ve been here since preschool. Over the years, we’ve seen such meaningful growth in both their learning and their character. This is a truly Christ-centered school where faith is part of everyday life. The teachers genuinely care about the students, and there is a strong focus on kindness, respect, and treating others with love. That environment has made a big difference for our family.Academically, my kids have grown so much. My children has achieved high honors and is performing above the national average for their age, which I believe reflects the strong education and support they receive here. At the same time, learning feels positive and encouraging, not overwhelming. The small class sizes are another big advantage! Each child is known, supported, and given the attention they need to grow with confidence.I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent who is looking for a Christian environment where their children can grow academically, feel supported, and be surrounded by kindness and strong values.Parent Review2mo ago5 Reviews
