I have a friend who son teacher didn’t even know he had an attention disorder till she brought it up to the teacher. The school ESP and school board blamed her for the teacher not knowing. My son experience at this school has been nothing short of horrible. There are other parents there who have also contacted other school districts to get their children out. Livonia public schools has not changed since I was a student there.Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - Grant Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt Michael is a supportive community that graduates young men and women with a high moral fiber and the ability to succeed post 8th grade. Continuously I hear from kids who leave the school that "high school is so easy" or teachers of those students that "I knew this was a St. Michael graduate". My child was recently accepted into a competitive magnet program and their grade school education here is the primary reason. Catholic identity is a core foundation and they partner with the homes to catechized our children. To live out the faith, the school actively participates in local charities.Like most private schools, they don't have the resources to support all types learning disabilities but they do support many, such as dyslexia.Parent Review7mo ago20 Reviews - St Damian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children went to this school. They loved it and looked forward to going to school every day. They always wanted me to take them to school early so they could see their friends. If they needed help on their homework, they could always count on receiving help from their teachers. Their education at Peace taught them how to succeed in high school and college. The teachers always went above and beyond to help our children. It was a wonderful family atmosphere and experience. Everyone here was very helpful and kind. All the children in every grade got along great with each other. A child in second grade asked my child in 8th grade if he would like to come to his birthday party. He did, and they all had a great time. It was truly a wonderful experience for everyone in my family. My son received a four-year full scholarship to go to college because his grades were very good. I believe that achievement was attributed to the education he received here at Peace Lutheran Church and School. Thank you and God Bless everyone who works now or who has worked in the past at Peace. You are all very special people and therefore you make this a very special place. My children have grown into men that I am proud of. Now that they are grown adults, I am very happy that we are able to have our grandchildren attend Peace Lutheran School. God is good!Parent Review2y ago20 Reviews - Branch Line School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Branch Line School! We have been here for 4 years now with my 2 daughters who attend. Both of my daughters have thrived in the small school environment here. Class sizes are small and it is project based which offers lots of hands on opportunities. Focus is placed on learning and meeting each child where they are. Instruction is usually done in small groups so teachers can teach to each child’s ability level. Our girls have done so well here and have made so much progress academically. The teachers and aides are very kind and actually care about the kids. Every day as we walk in, my daughters are greeted by name as the walk in the building by teachers and staff; some they have not even had for class yet. The small school environment has allowed us to make friendships and connections with other families here. My two girls actually enjoy going to school which is huge! The new building next year will be fantastic and we are excited. Highly recommend this school!Parent Review11mo ago50 Reviews
