"Spring Valley Park & Lake offers a lot of recreational events through Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation. They have walking trails. They have a new Frisbee Golf Course that is quite large possibly the largest in Kalamazoo. Several picnic areas and a playground. It's a very family-friendly well kept Lake/Park.."

"There are parts of it that are sketchy, but if you avoid those parts it is a very nice community. Lots of sidewalks, close a great park, and near everything."
