This is a wonderful school. The teachers really care about the success of each student and pay attention to every students needs. I am thrilled that they have 100% of parents that attend the parent teacher conferences. They are very welcoming and I really enjoy how kind the students are to each other as well as the teachers and staff. I would recommend this school to everyone. They want every child to be successful.

South Side has been described by many as a children s garden. What a beautiful metaphor. The children in our garden are lovingly enriched, patiently tended, appreciated and pointed always to their heavenly Father. Our staff is eager and equipped to meet each student where he or she is and to grow them into a deep and faith-filled relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Just like gardening can be messy, learning can be too. Together we learn about one another and discover how we can best meet the needs of each unique child. Children spend much of their time at South Side engaged in enriching learning experiences as well as developing their skills in a workshop model with teachers serving as coaches and encouragers. As you peruse through the pictures and pages here, you will find that it is our humble honor to pray daily with and for each child, to partner with parents, and to walk, one hand in your child s and the other in God s, as we grow, develop and learn together

Jefferson is a school which has been dealt a difficult hand. In the past that has resulted in poor test scores and poor reputation. My children have been at this school starting in 2022 and have seen a deliberate and amazing change in the school under the leadership of Sara Folkert. My son started at the school in a transition period between the old principal and Sara, and the change has been amazing to be a part of. The demographics of the school have not changed, however there has been an obvious positive trend of the teachers and staff at the school since we started there. There were many days that my son would come home from school frustrated that there was another child disrupting class when he was younger. Over the last two years, these have for the most part stopped completely. The staff have been trained well in handling these difficult scenarios and handle them so well now that they are relatively unnoticed in both of my children's classes. My children have been able to meet and exceed expected testing results while going to this school.
