I have 4 kids attending this school. All teacher do share their successes and concerns. They let me know what my kid need more help in. Principal takes her time to know all her kids and is always there during activities. The support is there.

As a parent of a current student that goes here, please do not send your kids here. The principal is so rude and doesn't listen to the kids, often telling them to shut up. It is so disrespectful and unfair to the children at this school. Children get suspended for false accusations all the time and the teaching is mediocre at best. The only good teacher for my student was the science teacher, who actually cares about the students learning and about the student. I feel that my child is unprepared for high school because of the bad quality teaching.

The building is 5 stars, some staff are 5 stars, some staff are 1 star. Most head admin are 1 star. You have to really watch what they do with your child’s IEP and if they are following it. They claim you are part of the team, but they really don’t value what you say. They pad what your child is doing to make it seem like they are making progress but they really aren’t making progress, so it’s really hindering your child and not helping them. Also, stay on top of any incidents that they report of your child, they downplay injuries and often don’t report injuries that happened to your child until many hours later. They used to be an amazing facility and the staffing has just gone way downhill. It’s very sad, been looking for alternate schooling for my child, but unless they are willing to pay to move my child, it looks like it’s going to come down to us moving somewhere else.
