The principal is very nasty special education has no IEP’s they don’t have any teachers so they have substitute teachers. They have aids that’s not train properly the food is horrible. Please get your children out of there. The two principal females are horrible. They don’t care about the special education department at all. They’re scared to come inside the classrooms or even deal with the children.

If your child has any special needs, this is not the school for them. My son has ASD and he was labeled as a bad child. They would call me saying he was crying at least 3 times weekly, while never explaining how they were treating him poorly. I wouldn't send a dog to this school. The staff members are very unprofessional. The principal backs his staff even if they are wrong.

My daughter been going to hazelwood for 2 years. I love the stuff they are helpful and supportive to overall kids and their families. No school is perfect but the principal and My favorite staff Mrs.Robertson do their best to protect the students. They strive for excellence in all aspects and as a mother of a child that attend there that’s all I can ask for

Do not send your child! I was a 1:1 all they do is yell, refuse the children lunch and food wheh misbehaving and twist their arms not using. CPI training skills. Special education children are in danger ! Staff is clicked up and talk down you.

one of my worse years being here, wouldn’t go. I hate it . They want us to pay for almost every trip and we literally can’t have phones or hoodies and everything is more strict ,we need our old principal back not even to be mean ,I feel miserable and tired of being here, this school drains me to the bone and I just wouldn’t recommend this to any new comers I’m sorry , still love the teachers and the teaching is good but sometimes I feel we aren’t getting teach the right things or ways but i hope the kids next year have a good experience , also pls change that school up it isn’t fair to the middle schoolers we literally don’t have art anymore and the school and hallways our too small for us , maybe a second floor.

The staff is rude, unorganized and it’s very unfortunate my child has to come here. It’s the main reason I’m trying to move.
