Fairhaven Beach

This school was the foundation for my children. They met all of their friends here from a young age and grew up with them all the way to high-school. The education here is amazing. The teachers genuinely care for each student they have! The events they have for community engagement are lovely and allow to get to know the schools staff and your child’s friends parents even! The School is very safe and the support here from the staff is truly one of a kind. Surely the best elementary school in the county.

Great school. Caring teachers. All 3 of my kids go here and they love it. My 1 so has an IEP and has been getting some grey extra learning on the side.

This school needs a new principal who can speak to parents and knows how to handle situations that are complex. Maybe they would have a better rating on all the sites with new leadership

This school could not care less about your safety. I went here and was being bullied. I told a teacher but told her that I don’t know the kids name. She told me there’s nothing she could do and won’t find out who he is. Another day, some guy tried to tell me that my parents sent him to pick me up. I told the office that I don’t know who the guy is and they didn’t do a thing. They just told me to go with him or walk.

My children have flourished both academically and emotionally at SJF. Their experience with teachers, administration and peers has always been positive even during those rough middle schools years. Two of my children are now off to high school with fond memories of caring, proactive teachers and a level of preparation that has awarded them scholarships and honors classes. SJF was once rumored to be closing but with full classes and a state certified pre-K program the enrollment has risen. SKF certainly has been an important part of the community for over 70 years now. Don’t listen to negative unfounded comments. We love our #sjfonefamily!
