7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI homeschooled my child because I didn’t want them to go here but unfortunately I had to enroll them for 2 years, second and third grade before we just pulled them out. Administrators are really kind and nice but the school is poorly managed. They don’t communicate well. Teachers quit every year, every year it’s a new principle, good teachers are moved with unmotivated students and the bully culture is insane and there is absolutely no accountability for the tiny 7 year olds who are verbally and emotionally abusive. First generation children of African descent are mean to American Black children. It’s crazy. Even when you report them and they launch an investigation, you get a letter in the mail saying nothing will be done. We just decided to move to another county with better schools and better quality of life. Where were moved not only are the scores better but there is actual anti bullying campaigns. This school does nothing about the bullies they just tell the kids “it’s ok” and it’s not!Parent Review5mo ago10 Reviews - Winand Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagelike i have to agree with this one comment about it being like good before 4th and 5th grade fr...... cuz like 4th grade was kinda bad but 5th was a JOURNEY. first, my homeroom teacher (which i won't say the name of so she can keep her job) was very, very rude to students. she would be yelling at this one guy and insulting him fr.. next, the kids there are coming after the special education kids and making jokes about them.. oh yeah and the school is hella getto.. someone's weave got pulled out for goodness sake! like every kid there going to 4th grade for 2024 - 2025 is probably going to be looking for fights like last year' s 5th graders.. so unless you want your kid to come out as getto and terrible as them no matter how good of a kid they are, DO. NOT. COME.Other Review1y ago9 Reviews - Torah Institute

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGFS is my daughter’s second family. She has been a student there for over 10 years and continues to thrive academically, socially and athletically. Her options are endless and she always has support. We appreciate GFS for setting her on a path with a bright future.Parent Review2mo ago13 Reviews - Park School of Baltimore

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was not safe at this school. The Administration is horrible and says they care but actions say otherwise. Turnover is ridiculous where students really suffer. Teachers don't answer emails even when taking the proper channels. They promote diversity but look at the school stats- it's not. They promote inclusion but they don't embrace diversity. They promote curiosity but only if you adhere to their way of thinking. They promote kindness but there is terrible bullying. They promote a safe environment supporting mental health but cause more anxiety than any child should endure. Point blank, this school ruined my child. Rules are not imposed equitably. The school is a mess with the current leadership and the school rests on their previous reputation. It's time for changes. Or, better yet just don't attend here.Parent Review1y ago34 Reviews
