3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is horrible. They think that because the school is located and a low income area that is OK to give these students the bare minimum. The test scores are low because they’re not teaching a students nor getting the kids to help that they need. The principal doesn’t know or interact with the kids and she’s been there for over 18 years and we wonder why this school has low test scores. The kids are not getting the proper education because of the staff.Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Cooper Lane Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is autistic and just had his 1st year here. He is going into 1st grade. He did PK3 & PK4 at 2 other schools before this. In PK3 he was in a special ed class. In PK4 he was in an inclusive classroom, but it wasn't well resourced. Now that he's at Lamont, he has teachers who love him, resources from the school, parents who show up for events & support when things need to get done. He has an IEP and at his meeting there were so many staff there for support, it felt like they actually cared about our child, which isn't what we've experienced st the other schools. I'm happy my other son will be starting here this year. Pleasant surprise!Parent Review8mo ago2 Reviews
