The culture of the school really effects the entire student body, and I feel the culture in this smaller school is one that fosters learning and growth in their students. There is a strong school spirit felt among the staff, and a family atmosphere. My kids enjoy their teachers, and the Principal is responsive to any concerns or feedback. I recommend this school!

This schools teachers go out of their way to help me with providing quality education for my son. They also give me many opportunities to work directly in the classroom with the teachers to aid in my sons education.

I have been very pleased with the experience my children have had at this school. My daughters have had fantastic teachers! I've been very happy with the programs they have in place to challenge children who are advanced, and to encourage children who need a little extra help. The teachers and administrators are fantastic at facilitating a healthy, happy learning environment for all children.

Rockland Woods Elementary School is a decent school for students that do not have learning differences. The school does create and hold interesting family-oriented gatherings for the students. The Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) as a whole is not supportive to neurotypical students that require accommodations and services to support the student to thrive in the educational setting. It is INCREDIBLY hard to even have your child evaluated for learning services and support. When you can get the school to agree to assess your child, they do the bare minimum testing, AT BEST. The actual teachers are SO HELPFUL and SUPPORTIVE; however, the teachers are not supported as well, and it prevents teachers from appropriately supporting the students. I do NOT recommend.
