Silver Sands

My son is currently in 4th grade and has been at High Point since Kindergarten. He loves it. The teachers are good, and the counselors are amazing. We do miss the former Principal, Mr. Merritt; he was more communicative and involved with the kids and parents.

This school needs a new principal who can speak to parents and knows how to handle situations that are complex. Maybe they would have a better rating on all the sites with new leadership

Excellent school. It has exceeded our expectations!

This school could not care less about your safety. I went here and was being bullied. I told a teacher but told her that I don’t know the kids name. She told me there’s nothing she could do and won’t find out who he is. Another day, some guy tried to tell me that my parents sent him to pick me up. I told the office that I don’t know who the guy is and they didn’t do a thing. They just told me to go with him or walk.

Freetown has definitely improved my children's outlook on school, engagement in learning & has worked extremely hard to build a relationship with the community & with the families.
