6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers, the staff, everyone at this school was very nice and respectful. I couldn't find a school better that I will be sending my students to in the future. During recesses, teachers can watch over and see where every student is and is clear about boundaries. 10/10 school everybody is very nice.Other Review2mo ago7 Reviews - Dr. Sally K. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been a blessing for my kids ! Their grades improved so much in just 2 months ! My first son graduated form SKR and my second son is happy to go to school here. The principal Mrs. Burgess is the best ! You will find her outside every morning bringing the kids in and in the afternoon making sure the kids go home safely. She even stays with the kids for after-school club. She goes on field trips with the grades and spends time with the students at lunch. This principal is involved in eveything! The teachers have been here a long time they know how to teach and they stay year after year . The teachers and paraeducators are experianced and care for the students well being . The teacher contacted me because she noticed my son couldn't see from far, he needed glasses . They always welcome parents to volunteer.Parent Review5mo ago9 Reviews - Woodfield Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Goshen for six years. It is safe to say, that the school is way beyond its ratings. They provide an amazing learning experience for all grades. Most of the teachers are very kind to their students, and I consistently felt motivated to learn. The school is very safe, especially with the option to become a safety patrol in 5th grade. The classrooms were always set up for efficient learning. Students with disabilities always received the support and care they needed. The counselor was always kind and cared for all students. The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) also allowed parents and families to connect with teachers, which was a good way to keep in touch with what students were learning. The only thing that concerned me was ELA, since the curriculum changed a lot, but I'd assume it's for the better. Great school, would definitely recommend! :)Other Review1mo ago14 Reviews - Captain James E. Daly Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrom the administration and the children at this school. I wouldn’t recommend this school to an enemy. I have witnessed staff speak to children in a demeaning manor, tell students they are going to get them in trouble with their parents and that they are a bad kid. If they do that in front of other adults, can you imagine what they do when alone with your child? Children at this school aren’t held accountable and it’s always an excuse. Child here anre bullies, use physical contact first, very little is done by staff, student get away with murder, student are forced to have restorative conversations even when someone gets physical and both are forced to apologize. Continuing a cycle of violence and abuse with zero consequences and then wonder why the cycle continues. Although I haven’t come across a lot of amazing teachers I will say there are a few. Both of my children have expressed that a lot of the specials teachers are mean (media, music), shout a lot and are not liked. I have heard students at the park across the street say all their teachers do is yell and shout etc. I hear parents asking other kids about being picked on and bullying. That is what this school enables and cultivates. The fish rots from the head and both the principal and asst principal cover for each other, full of excuses and after several interactions are untrustworthy.Parent Review2mo ago22 Reviews - Mother of God School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved our kids from public school to MOG this year due to pandemic. The best decision made. We are so happy with the challenging curriculum and how amazing everyone is. Its a night and day from the school we came from.Parent Review5y ago19 Reviews - Optimal Learning School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI highly recommend and endorse The Optimal Learning Center-Sally Ride. Our 4 years old son attended the school. His and our experience with the school was absolutely amazing. The management and teachers were very kind, accommodating, and very qualified. Our son flourished as a result of attending this school. His social, communication, and behaviors greatly improved. We appreciated the updates, videos, and pictures throughout the day. Additionally, the teachers and the director communicated openly with us regarding our son and addressed our questions and concerns. My biggest regret is that I didn’t know about Optimal Learning Center earlier so I could enroll my son sooner. I think this place is the area’s best kept secret in terms of childcare/school. I only wish that more childcare centers followed the same model and culture as The Optimal Learning Center.Parent Review2y ago1 Reviews
