West Side has been a wonderful place for my kids! This is the second school they have been to in this county and while we had a great experience there, this is definitely a place my kids prefer. My kids' teachers have been tremendously supportive and kind. My kids look forward to going to school each and every day.

My son has an enormous appetite for learning and tends to be bored and "spirited" if not challenged. His teacher is amazing and surpassed my expectations, I even learned something new last week! The administration and nurse are on the ball and everyone is very nice and helpful. Communication is superb between everyone and with me, as well. There are many opportunities for me to get involved which is very important to me. I also love all the safety lessons they provide. I highly recommend this school!

My son is an overachiever and perfectionist, which while admirable traits, can sometimes lead to meltdowns. The staff at South Penn has been wonderful. We've never had a negative experience. Faculty are caring and compassionate.

Great place for developing minds. My three year old took to the open Montessori program immediately. Wonderful. Wonderful.

My children have received the instruction, respect, and discipline necessary to be successful. All children learn differently, and this is a school that supports that. The communication is great if you use the avenues provided, and these are continually improving. I do not hear about even small fights from my son, who had lots of stories to tell from Braddock and Allegany.

What a lovely, warm, child-centered school! I was pleasantly surprised to discover Beginnings after moving to the area recently. What a joy to interact with children of various ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities all in one school. Each staff member and board member is passionate about making our school the best it can be. Since we are a small school, we are able to get to know each child and watch them blossom. I am privileged to be a part of the Beginnings family.
