My son is an overachiever and perfectionist, which while admirable traits, can sometimes lead to meltdowns. The staff at South Penn has been wonderful. We've never had a negative experience. Faculty are caring and compassionate.
Posted by a parent on 8/2/2019I had to transfer my kids to this school bc of a horrible school , and this school has been so kind and helpful and my kids love their teachers andthe principal is wonderful. This is a wonder school and offers so much to the kids .

This is the second school they have been to in this county and while we had a great experience there, this is definitely a place my kids prefer. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy school is Wiley Ford Primary of Wiley Ford, West Virginia. I had two children already complete their education through this school for K-2. Currently have one more child in the 1st grade. This is a wonderful school. The teachers are great with the students and the principal is very easy to talk to and knows how to provide the students/and parents with help to meet their child's full potential. The school is very small but; does a lot for the students to keep them wanting to learn in a fun filled way. I praise this school and all the staff, they are very welcoming to parents and volunteers. All children learn differently, and this is a school that supports that. The communication is great if you use the avenues provided, and these are continually improving. What a joy to interact with children of various ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities all in one school. Each staff member and board member is passionate about making our school the best it can be.
