Nice school but staff is unprofessional and inappropriate! Instead of educating my child they are more concerned w her personal life. Including telling my children not to listen to me. Now we’re a lgbt household I understand everyone isn’t familar but they have been nasty towards me since I met them at the greeting before school started. Yes my kids call me dad! Yes I’m woman! I didn’t carry them but I delivered them cut the umbilical cord signed both birth certificate and have been primary financial provider since they have been on earth. It’s. It about your personal beliefs and preferences. I am legally married and they are legally my children whether yall like it or not. This entire experience has been uncomfortable and very inappropriate. Home school your child or private school but your kid won’t learn much here.

The teachers compare the kids, and complain. The students do not have a happy school environment.

We feel fortunate that our kids are able to attend such an excellent school. The leadership, staff, and teachers are amazing; they've created an environment that builds community and makes learning exciting for our children. Mayo Elementary is known locally as the public private school because of the high caliber teaching, student-teacher ratio, and extracurricular opportunities it fosters. As a parent, I feel informed and part of the school community, particularly through ongoing events and engagement programs such as WATCHDOGS. Thank you, Mayo Elementary!

The middle school math program is seriously lacking. They need to hire a qualified teacher for math. They also need newer materials. The book that is being used is at least 15 years old. Teacher also not willing to help any children and stay after for help. When most of the students are doing poorly that means that there is an issue with the teaching. Wake up and do something about it. Put the fundraising money where it is needed..don't cut transportation for field trips. Do more for the kids..especially the middle school kids. All sorts of programs for the young ones..Learn to Ride A Bike,etc.but nothing for middle school.

Key is obviously a great, college level school with activities unique to a private school. The classes were great and immersive and there was free time in between classes and activities at the end of the day. The problem that I had at key was a lot of unrestricted bullying. There is a ton of wealth at this school and the students are extremely privileged and mean. I think key school could take a lesson from friends schools and do more to make sure that's not going on.

Advice to Management: Pros:- Small class sizes and a tight-knit community among some of the teachers.- Families are generally supportive, and working with the children was the most rewarding part of the job.- The campus and facilities are well-maintained.Cons:- Leadership fosters a toxic and hostile work environment where favoritism is common.- Lack of transparency and accountability from administration; concerns raised by staff are often dismissed or turned back against them.- Inconsistent enforcement of policies and expectations, creating confusion and unfair treatment among teachers.- Lack of support for teachers - High turnover among teachers due to stress, lack of support, and the culture of fear.
