5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAnnapolis Elementary School is a 4 star rated school by the Maryland State Department of Education. We offer PreK 3, PreK 4 and Kindergarten-5th grade. We have a very low student to staff ratio. We are a small school, where every adult knows every child’s name. We are committed to a safe, supportive and rigorous academic learning environment for all children. Through our Community Schools, Title 1 and PTA funding, we offer a variety of after school, evening, weekend and school-day enrichment. We encourage Annapolis residents to choose our top-rated public school!Principal Review2y ago3 Reviews - Eastport Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNice school but staff is unprofessional and inappropriate! Instead of educating my child they are more concerned w her personal life. Including telling my children not to listen to me. Now we’re a lgbt household I understand everyone isn’t familar but they have been nasty towards me since I met them at the greeting before school started. Yes my kids call me dad! Yes I’m woman! I didn’t carry them but I delivered them cut the umbilical cord signed both birth certificate and have been primary financial provider since they have been on earth. It’s. It about your personal beliefs and preferences. I am legally married and they are legally my children whether yall like it or not. This entire experience has been uncomfortable and very inappropriate. Home school your child or private school but your kid won’t learn much here.Parent Review4mo ago6 Reviews - Hillsmere Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTwo of my children entered St. Mary's in middle school. Both were warmly welcomed by the faculty and administration and found friends rather quickly. My older child was two grade levels behind in math post-pandemic and St. Mary's taught her four grade levels of math in two years. She was able to achieve an A in Algebra I her first year of high school without any extra tutoring. The school has some offerings for children with learning differences, but they are not comprehensive. It's advisable to consult the administration to see if their offerings fit your child's needs.Parent Review1y ago22 Reviews - Key School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKey is obviously a great, college level school with activities unique to a private school. The classes were great and immersive and there was free time in between classes and activities at the end of the day. The problem that I had at key was a lot of unrestricted bullying. There is a ton of wealth at this school and the students are extremely privileged and mean. I think key school could take a lesson from friends schools and do more to make sure that's not going on.Other Review4mo ago48 Reviews - St Annes School Of Annapolis

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've grown concerned about the direction of the middle school. Enrollment seems to be dropping. There have been ongoing behavior problems and bullying that do not seem to be addressed. There are a lot of cliques and newer students seem to have a hard time feeling like they belong. Faculty members seem to disappear without explanation on a fairly regular basis. Instead of trying to do a few things really well, the school tries to be all things to all people, shoehorning too many subjects and activities into the schedule. Kids and teachers seem constantly pulled in too many directions. It might be a good place for pre-school and elementary school, but there seems to be a lot of turmoil in grades 5 through 8. So if your child is older, be sure to ask questions and talk to other parents before enrolling your child.Parent Review1y ago27 Reviews
