"My commute is a short one. There is hardly any traffic in the early morning hours when I go to work. A majority of traffic occurs later on in the day when all of kids are out of school."

"The church has free dinners on Wednesday for community members who have no meals, and the provide clothes. The best schools district. The best park in the area to visit is Purgatory."

"It’s okay. Traffic can get a little hectic but not to bad. We have a couple of stores near us that is walking distance. There is also a pizza place and laundry mat right up the driveway from me."

"Whitinsville is very nice location to live Quite and friendly. I have lived here for now 4 years and it was so quite when I first moved I couldn’t sleep - had to adjust to the quite. There are a few restaurants in town and a Walmart. Whitinsville is right off Rt 146 so central to Worceater or Providence. Rents seem average."

"I grew up in Whitinsville, living in this area for 4 years. This location is wonderful because it is full of small homes for 1-2 people with no neighbors in front of you providing for extra parking during non snow times. It is also close to everything you might need: groceries, food, gas, and even all the little shops downtown, The only thing I can honestly say that is wrong with this area is that it is close to a lot of traffic and it is hard to obtain Taxi's/Ubers"

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe community needs to know what is happening behind the scenes in our schools. As the recently departed Facilities Manager, I am sounding the alarm:Taxpayer Waste: I reported the theft of $20,000 in district equipment, but leadership ignored it and refused to file police reports.Safety Hazards: The Middle School auditorium is being used despite a collapsing ceiling and structural decay. It is a major liability.Unlicensed Work: The district consistently uses unlicensed labor for dangerous electrical projects, putting our kids at risk of fire and injury.Zero Oversight: When I tried to implement safety checklists and SOPs, I was told, “We don’t like checklists around here.”Our tax dollars are being wasted, and our children are being placed in unsafe buildings. It is time for the School Committee to demand a full audit of the administration and maintenance departments.Other Review3mo ago5 Reviews - Whitinsville Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAdministration from the top down are disrespectful, bad at communicating with staff and families, and care more about preventing lawsuits and having positive public opinions than they do about student well being. They openly show favor towards students who have parents with high incomes. They are out of compliance with several IEPs are a consistent basis due to being short staffed but do not make any real efforts to address staffing issues (i.e. better benefits, better pay, better treatment).Other Review2y ago4 Reviews
