We’re sharing this to inform others when choosing a school. Despite full tuition payment, Cushing Academy withheld a student’s official transcripts, preventing enrollment elsewhere and causing significant academic and emotional disruption. Repeated attempts to resolve the issue were met with delays and vague references to policy, without sharing the policy itself. This practice is unethical and potentially unlawful.Additionally, the school promised future courses that were later unavailable due to scheduling issues or low enrollment.Families should request written confirmation of course offerings and clear policies on transcript release. Based on our experience, we do not recommend this school.
