The other, has had a horrible time here. I pray this year will be different.Parent Review10y ago6 Reviews - Dularge Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school will willingly give your child food despite knowing they have an allergy to it. Adults are not properly punishing students who bully others and, in most cases, will not receive any punishment at all! It is often overlooked if a seemingly nice kid does the bullying, especially if they are good in their classes, because "they wouldn't do that." It doesn't matter what you don't think they would do, bullying is bullying, and it must be stopped. Overall, do not send your child to this school if they have allergies to common food products such as dairy or if you do not want them to be subjected to bullying with no repercussions.Parent Review4y ago3 Reviews - Honduras Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCan’t speak highly enough of this school! My son is an inclusion student (sped) and the sped department here has done WONDERS for him! We went from D’s and F’s to A’s, B’s and C’s! Moving here was best decision! The teachers and staff truly love these kids and the administration has a no nonsense policy for bullying and misbehavior which is great for teaching our kids how to become productive members of society. They have lots of clubs to join and the school places great every year in Beta for state and regional competitions! If you want great teachers, good education and a school where bullying and bad behavior are not tolerated this is your school! You won’t find better admin in this parish!Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Houma Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am beyond disappointed in our experience at Houma Christian School. What is marketed as a Christ-centered environment felt anything but Christ-like behind the scenes. There is a clear culture of favoritism. Rules are not applied equally. Discipline appears selective. In athletics especially, it often feels like influence and financial support matter more than merit or character. Some students seem protected while others are held to entirely different standards.Bullying is not taken seriously, and what’s even more disturbing is that in our experience, some of the most hurtful behavior did not only come from students. We witnessed adults in authority speak to children in ways that were demeaning, dismissive, and unkind. When teachers model hostility or sarcasm toward students, it creates a culture where bullying is normalized instead of corrected. There is a lack of consistency and accountability. It often feels like “who you know” determines outcomes more than what is right.A Christian school should reflect fairness, humility, compassion, and protection of children. Instead, we experienced politics, favoritism, and a culture that felt far removed from the values it claims to represent.I hope leadership reflects deeply on the environment they are creating. Children deserve better.Parent Review2mo ago14 Reviews - School For Exceptional Children
