Promised Land

My child attended kindergarten through second grade. We were not impressed with the teachers and staff through out but especially in first grade. Her teacher left half way through the year and turns out she wasn’t teaching them anything so the last three months they had to have 6 specialist teachers in the classroom every day to catch the entire class up on what they weren’t learning the entire year so they could pass and go to third grade. It was a mess. The teachers look and act burnt out. Strong lack of communication. The bullying at this school is atrocious but I don’t know if that’s the schools fault or the caliber of kids attending that school. The fact this school is ranked high just goes to show the poor education in Louisiana as a whole. Don’t send your kids here.
