"There is not a lot of new neighborly community things that goes on around that neighborhood, but they do have a lot of bad stuff that people can get into downtown, which is close by"

"This is central to so many shops, grocery stores and businesses! It doesn’t take but 5 to 10 minutes to get to most places from this location. Just about everything you need is close and that makes living here so convenient! "

"Easy accessible and not hard to navigate through. Close to interstate and grocery shopping. Traffic is an issue early to city and evening commute. But very easy to get downtown. Very friendly neighbors "

"I see public transportation when I'm out and about, but I typically work from home. When I do commute, it is fairly easy to get from home to my destination. I do think there should be more options for city bus riders and bicyclists to opt comfortably out of driving vehicles all the time."

"Many people who have dogs walk them often & are very friendly. Anyone living in the area would enjoy the many roads with sidewalks available to walk their dogs. The only thing missing is a dog park. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBunch of rude staff working on park view elementary school. They are not helpful specially for new kids parents. The receptionist lady always scares me when I hear his voice I always forget why I am calling. My pre-k boy is going to school every day I am trying to contact to teacher she never answered my mail. My son cried every day and don’t want to go to school I want to know so many things that is very stressful but nobody helps me.Parent Review8mo ago11 Reviews - Parkview Baptist School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am an ex middle school student of Parkview Baptist School. Students are cookie cutter images of each other. Nearly no diversity or creativity. Girlhood was extremely hard here with judgmental students and even teachers.Other Review1mo ago42 Reviews - Episcopal High School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average2.5/5. The people who go to this school, thinks it's the best school in the state. But if you look at the ratings, it is only rated 9th. Their are 3 other school in Baton Rouge that rank better then EHS. Plus this school is limited to what it can offer other then the basic core classes. Look at Catholic, Baton Rouge High, and Lee High, and you will see there is a huge difference. Another concerns is EHS is only focused on money, they charge for everything...ie a parking pass cost $160.00. It is only $125.00 at LSU for 12 month.Parent Review6y ago16 Reviews - The Runnels School
