My child had a wonderful experience at Yealey. There were some issues with other students that happened, but the way the staff handled them was great. My child loved all the staff and had a great time at Yealey. This school offers many wonderful programs too. Art, music, and more. I felt he was supported and cared for while there.

It’s a terrible school run by terrible people.

I have a kindergartner and so far I and my husband absolutely love Ockerman. It really is an amazing school. Wonderful teachers and staff, curriculum that challenges my child academically and teaches him life lessons at the same time. They offer programs for advid readers and many more. They offer karate and ballet and have a wonderful library. Really just a phenomenal school.

I was Super disappointed in this school. I had such high hopes for this school. I feel and later the therapist (that I was convinced was need) that my child was targeted very young and it followed yearly. Even Quote from one of the teachers that EVERYTHING would be in a Permanent record. Now we know what that means, but it scares my child enough they would not tell me for Weeks! The principal and Assistant Principal Did Not try to help. When I did try to get help on issues they retaliated. In fact they were the Biggest Bullies of the school. It interesting that the school has video cameras everywhere they said, I was never allowed to view anything. But the most interesting NO CAMERAS are where most would think you would want one, in the principal or assistant principal office. While your kid is interrogated without anyone else present. They refuse to contact a parent prior the interactions, even when requested by the parent. Some/few teachers actually care and want to help the kids. Grades are not uploaded for weeks so you never know if something is done or not, and even when your child remembers doing the assignment they will still get a zero weeks later when they can not provide proof. This school and asst principal (who does most work with students) is all fake and put on a wonderful caring show on the outside. Just hope your child is not on the target list…. Better yet Do Not Take a chance. Sadly I learned too late and the record was already marked where no school in the county was will to take a chance.
