Walnut Grove was an awful experience. Two of my high school children went there. Language arts went well, but hey we're barely taught in other subjects. Geography consisted mostly of watching a television travel show. Government was not taught at all, my child was put in the travel/geography class for this one. When I complained that her economics class consisted of her sitting by herself (she s theory student in that grade) they offered to have one of the parents teacher about how stocks work. We finally pulled her out in the middle of her senior year. Science and math classes were dumbed down for the students with less ability. This school was not good atall for high school or junior high. They also allowed troubled kids who were expelled from other schools to join.
