I never get notified by the school when there are issues with my son. Mrs. winters isn't unprofessional and may issues at this school get swept under the rug and not handled because they don't have enough funding.

My daughter has IEP and the help she got from the school was disgraceful it was awful I don’t wish it upon anybody sending there kids here

The gifted program is geared towards “model” students and has no accommodations at the school or district level for kids with ADHD, etc. The 6th grade gifted teacher failed to communicate assignment/syllabus to students or parents, did not follow my child’s IEP, and chose not to notify us when our child was speaking about self-harm in class.Getting my child out of there has greatly improved their emotional health, safety, and academic achievement.

The school does not care about your mental health and does not understand your situation, even if they are a nurse. I was asked to leave because of my unwanted mental health issues.I was asked to leave the school because I was a safety hazard. I dealt with severe depression and was told to express my feelings to the nurse. I was allowed to talk freely about my problems and unwanted thoughts; that is until I expressed an unwanted thought, that was not going to be acted upon towards friends in my class. I was then told to leave the school due to my behavior. I am still emotionally scared and have to try to learn to trust others, thanks.

I am so happy my boys are attending HCA. My sister had her 5 children attend HCA and seeing how much they enjoyed school and the great study habits that they had learned really helped push me towards this school. My boys are thriving in this small close-knit school. The school feels like family. The office staff is amazing, super friendly and always willing to help anyway that they can. The teachers go beyond the normal call of duty, actually caring about their students. I fully recommend this school to everyone that wants a good school with small class sizes that does not focus on test scores but focuses on the spiritual and academic fulfillment.

My son loves going to school! The teachers and staff are caring and truly care about him as a person. We are so thankful to be here!

I have 2 kids currently enrolled at St. Thomas More Catholic School. We have been with them for 6 years now and I could not be more proud and happy. I observed the biggest change in my son’s values esp in praying at second grade but for sure, it all started when he was in preschool. Over time, it developed and blossomed into a special kind of relationship with God at such a young age. Kudos to their amazing and hands-on faculty and staff. We are really thankful for having found STM.
