It feels like a family. The kids all know each other and interact across grade levels. As a parent, I know most of the kids and their families. I have always felt welcome and wanted. 2. Small classes. The students receive so much personalized assistance. The teachers are able to teach and not spend their whole day on behavior/classroom management. As a result, St. Mary’s students tend to be very prepared for high school and beyond having mastered the foundations and learning key studying behaviors. 3. The faculty and staff. It is obvious how much the teachers enjoy teaching and want the best for their students. You see the staff at athletic events and school performances. They are great about supporting the students and encouraging their interests.4. The ability to be involved. As a small school, there are opportunities for students to be involved in anything they are interested in and most students are very involved! Sports, theater, band/choir, chess, scouts, etc. 5. The price. Yes, it costs to go to the school but they have scholarships and other financial assistance options so it is do-able for any family. And compared to other private school options, St. Mary’s is a great value.Parent Review2mo agoTrinity Lutheran SchoolPK-8Private402 StudentsNAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchool is great until Junior High. The math teacher who is also the athletic director is terrible. Also he can be very rude at times. He can’t teach well. Isn’t worth the money in junior high. Also some of the teachers in junior high are bad disciplining students.Parent Review1y agoThe GreatSchools Rating compares schools on a variety of school quality indicators including test scores, college readiness, equity and more.
