"I work from home, and when I did commute it was 10 minutes away, near the Village. Anywhere in the valley takes about 20 minutes. Not bad. "

"My neighborhood is quiet, but the people are very nice towards one another. We all have our own lives, so we don't see each other a ton, but when we do interact with our neighbors it's always positive."

"We have a mid-sized neighborhood pool in Binghamton Square subdivision for a minimal HOA fee. Cloverdale Road just got explained to a near-freeway size."

"Reggie’s veggies is near us & they have a wonderful selection of fresh fruits & veggies. We have movie night at the neighborhood school & trick or treating feels fun & safe & a house in our neighborhood always puts on an awesome haunted house. "

"We have two dogs. There’s not a good dog park super close by but people seem to be generally dog friendly. If your dog barks a lot though, people might not be super nice about it. "

"Friendly neighbors. Pet loving area. There are street lamps in every front yard, when they light up at night the street has an old fashioned homey feel."

"We have lived her for about 6 years now. It is a quiet area, not tons of kids in the neighborhood, but there are some. There are no HOAs but everyone keeps their yards up quite well."

"The neighborhood is cute, the people are nice, and there are a lot of nice restaurants and stores nearby. The taxes are low and the area is conservative. We love West Ada!"

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs the parent of a kindergartner, I trusted Summerwind STEM Academy to provide a safe and supervised learning environment. That trust was broken when my 5-year-old son experienced multiple incidents of physical and sexual misconduct from another student — incidents that were reported directly to school staff.Despite repeated disclosures, and my direct requests to separate the students and speak with the principal, no meaningful steps were taken. Days passed. More incidents occurred. My son continued to be harmed. Ultimately, we withdrew him for his safety. In a recorded conversation with my wife, the principal admitted that no protective actions had been implemented and implied that my son bore some responsibility for what occurred. That response is not only trauma-ignorant — it's legally indefensible and ethically inexcusable.I am now pursuing legal action to address what I believe to be institutional negligence and failure to follow mandatory safety procedures. I am sharing this not as a threat, but as a warning to other families: please ask tough questions about how this school handles reports of harm, and whether your child will be protected if something happens. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion based on direct communication with school administrators and firsthand events.Parent Review8mo ago9 Reviews - Joplin Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJoplin is a great school. The staff and students are welcoming and inviting. It's not a new, fancy school, but it is a special neighborhood school with caring, compassionate teachers. I have been lucky to have had two children attend Joplin. The teachers have high standards and both have made progress academically. They have also made long-lasting peer friendships. This school has a small-town feel that is unique in this day and age.Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews - Frontier Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has had an amazing experience at McMillian. After being transfered from a different school where my son was bullied and where his IEP was not followed. McMillian has a good special needs programs for Idaho. The class sizes are smaller and the mainstream teachers do have experience and training in special needs.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews
