We love PGE, and have not had any negative experiences or problems with administration, staff, or other students. All concerns have been addressed quickly and fairly.

Our family has been dealing with ongoing and deeply troubling issues at this school. My son has been bullied repeatedly. He has been spit on. He has come home with busted lips. Despite multiple incidents, the school has failed to adequately prevent or meaningfully intervene in the behavior.I have met directly with both the principal and vice principal to address these concerns. I have also filed formal reports with the superintendent. Although conditions briefly improved after escalation, the environment ultimately reverted back to the same harmful patterns.It does not feel like the children at this school are in a psychologically safe space. There appears to be more focus on documenting incidents than addressing the root causes. The result is a paper trail that protects the institution rather than protecting the children.What has been most heartbreaking is hearing my son come home and say, “Mommy, I did not get bullied today,” as if simply being left alone for a day is an achievement. No child should normalize survival as success.This began in kindergarten. He is now in first grade, and the pattern has continued.If you are willing and able, I strongly encourage you to carefully evaluate whether this environment is truly serving your child’s well-being. Every child deserves safety, dignity, and the freedom to learn without fear.

The first person you come in contact with (if it's during drop off/pick up times) is the school crossing guard.. He is RUDE, loud and announces he works for the Henry County Police Department like that makes him an officer or something.. He does NOT know how to approach people and should NOT have a job working with the school system..... He is VERY confrontational.... Talks to people like their dirt and below him .. He says his name is Wayne Evans. Beware of him until the school system gets rid of him. I spoke with the school, the BOE and the police department. This WAS NOT the first complaint against him.....
