They are cruel and irresponsible. I have a non verbal child who can't tell us about his day. It's been 2 months and we still can't get a note to tell us about his day. We've done everything and it's been totally exhausting. Teachers are unaccountable. They hate parents- especially fathers. If you have an autisic child this school would be a mistake.

My kids have been at this school for seven years, and never had a bad teacher - every single primary class teacher has been excellent! There are occasional issues - a difficult Specials teacher, and very tight rules around adult admittance to the school. But when I've had a concern, it has been addressed with respect and a willingness to improve. Overall I've been very happy with the staff and educational program. And the "no homework" policy at the younger grades is fantastic - kids need to move and play at home after learning all day, and this school really gets that. When one of my children had difficulty writing, I was able to ask the teacher for extra resources and have him practice at home only on what he needed to improve.

Mixed. Ended on a sour note due to very weak, almost detrimental placement program for middle school. Very nice physical plant can distract from problem areas. School encourages elitism; a few families have too much influence.

I have 2 children at CCS and we have seen them grow quite a bit in their faith, academic learning, and the joy they attach to being Christian. Both of their teachers make an extra effort to connect with my children and to point out their strengths. And both teachers also take extra effort to add creative pieces to how they teach certain concepts that my husband and I appreciate too. Our kids both have shared that they love CCS as well!

I LOVE MY CHILD BEING AT DESTINY ACADEMY. SHE HAS LEARNED SO MUCH. I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO EVERYONE. ITS VERY DIVERSE IN CULTURAL. MY CHILD COMES HOME EVERYDAY EXCITED. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GOOD CHRISTIAN BASED SCHOOL. THIS IS THE SCHOOL FOR YOU. ITS SO FAMILY ORIENTED AND THEY TOOK GOOD CARE OF THE KIDS.

I’ve had 2 kids attend Smyrna prep (one went from 16 month- pre k 4) and the other has been there 1.5 years. We have had an amazing experience for both kids. Super loving teachers. Our now almost 6 year old was very well prepared for his kindergarten experience after leaving. They have always been super supportive, and treated my kids like their own.
