4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am at the close of 9 years of being a Panda parent. 3 very different kids all went to Vineville K-5 nd each had a different wonderful experience. My oldest (male) excelled at visual art and was encouraged to pursue his talents. He was also in the gifted program and was really challenged to be organized and disciplined. Most years his teachers relished his "boy" behavoir and found creative ways to redirct him and use his mischeviousness as a teaching tool. My second (female) had real struggles in learning. She recieved individualized attention--long before she was on an IEP--and discipline was handled very fairly with her. My youngest (female) is the mean student in testing and simply thrived in everyway at Vineville. She made great friends, discovered talents in visual art and drama, and had teachers she adored and who adored her. I know no school is perfect and Vineville is not either but we had an incredible experience there for 9 years. I wish every school was Vineville.Parent Review6y ago12 Reviews - Bruce Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am extremely disappointed with my experience at this school. The academic expectations are far too low, and many students are not being pushed to reach their full potential. It is very concerning that so many children are struggling with basic reading skills without consistent support or intervention. There also seems to be a lack of structure and stability. My child has frequently had substitute teachers, which creates inconsistency in the classroom and disrupts learning. Classroom behavior and student disrespect often go unchecked, making it difficult for children who truly want to learn.Communication from administration has also been discouraging. Instead of working collaboratively with parents to find solutions, concerns are often met with defensiveness or dismissiveness. Parents deserve to be spoken to with respect and treated as partners in their child’s education.Every child deserves a safe, structured, and academically challenging environment. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience here. I truly hope the school takes steps to improve leadership, communication, and academic standards for the sake of the students.Parent Review2mo ago2 Reviews - Progressive Christian Academy
