Posted by a community member on 8/1/2017I have two children at Alex 2, and we absolutely love it! We have had great teachers, and we love the new principal, Ms. Caldwell. I think Ms. Caldwell has done so much to encourage intrinsic motivation among the students, and she is very forward-thinking. Another of Alex 2's strengths is diversity.

I have three words that accurately describe this horrible school... SHUT IT DOWN!!!! 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am at the close of 9 years of being a Panda parent. 3 very different kids all went to Vineville K-5 nd each had a different wonderful experience. My oldest (male) excelled at visual art and was encouraged to pursue his talents. He was also in the gifted program and was really challenged to be organized and disciplined. Most years his teachers relished his "boy" behavoir and found creative ways to redirct him and use his mischeviousness as a teaching tool. My second (female) had real struggles in learning. She recieved individualized attention--long before she was on an IEP--and discipline was handled very fairly with her. My youngest (female) is the mean student in testing and simply thrived in everyway at Vineville. She made great friends, discovered talents in visual art and drama, and had teachers she adored and who adored her. I know no school is perfect and Vineville is not either but we had an incredible experience there for 9 years. I wish every school was Vineville.Parent Review6y ago - Progressive Christian Academy

A lot of parents immediately get drawn by the Prestige of the other better known private schools in the area, but don't let "Popularity" be the deciding factor.
