5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe 2025-2026 school year academically at Brown was horrible for my son. The whole school year there was only one parent teacher conference. I stayed in contact with his teacher to see if there was anything he needed extra work on at home and I was told there were no worries. Both ceremonies for the year my son was not included yet his teacher said he was doing well in class. I left a voicemail months ago with parent liason about the matter and she never called me back. He will not be attending next year. Every year it gets worse but this year was THE FIRST of him not making AB honor roll. Highly disappointedParent Review2mo ago12 Reviews - Kilpatrick Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is okay not the best due to not communicating or having regular meetings my child was a kindergarten student and I never really heard from the teacher the whole school year unless I reached so I don’t know if my child needed help with anything or having a good or bad day because my child is really shy I also did not agree with how pricey everything was throughout the year seems like I had to pay for literally every event that the school decided to throw field trips is understandable but to graduate was a bit excessive but overall the year ended on a good note I hope communication gets betterParent Review1mo ago13 Reviews - Arnold Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have a issue with this school, I don’t know why they’re teaching my 1st grader about segregation and riots/protests, it should be taught but that should be in civics and so on, not when they’re learning addition and multiplication with basic language arts. It feels like they’re trying to get political and I think that’s horrible for my kid.Parent Review11mo ago10 Reviews - Kay R Pace Elementary School of the Arts

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child enjoyed attending Kay Pace SOTA. I was heavily involved just as much as she was. They push the scholars very hard to the point I had to put my child in therapy for anxiety. Some days we couldn’t catch a break. Tutoring is a must if you want your child to stay ahead, because the teachers are teaching by the book. Some will give too much unnecessary homework that has nothing to do with classwork. As for the clubs, it’s who you know here. They will hold auditions for certain clubs but the opportunity is limited. It’s like a popularity contest. I don’t feel that teachers and counselors reprimand scholars fairly because when I will bring issues up about bullying it always seemed to get brushed under the rug or the finger was pointed back at my child. Therefore, keep a paper tail. I notice scholars whose parents work for the district are disciplined differently than those without parents who don’t work for school. Same goes for club auditions and sport tryouts. I’ve seen coaches put their own kids on team. After Dr. Jackson left, student and parent engagement has improved tremendously. Dr. Buddy really puts a lot of effort to make school feel welcoming. Overall, the school does challenge the scholars, but communication between teachers and parents needs critical improvement.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews
