3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the best school of all elementary schools. The staff are great with the students, I have been with this school for years three still in attendance and one that has gone on to middle school from heritage and all of my kids are A & B honor roll students. Each one teach one is what they live by at this school and they are doing an excellent job at showing it. I Love Heritage Academy Elementary!!Parent Review12y ago4 Reviews - Anderson Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePersonally I don’t think school is very clean. My kindergarten comes home and states that roaches are in her classroom and bathroom. My child comes home sick a lot. The counselor doesn’t respond to emails. Her teacher responds to messages in class dojo days later. They push so much on attendance but want to punish parents because their child is out 10 days due to sickness they got from school. Maybe have parents of sick children stay at home and if the school did a better job of disinfect and sanitize then maybe it will help. Clayton county overall has a 2/10 rating. That’s really sad!!Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Huie Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been in this school since pre-k and i have not had any issue with anyone. If anything happens they immediatelycalls parents and takes action. I feel safe to have my son attending this school because staff do care about students. They are very informative and communicate with parents based on our child academics. The only thing that the school needs is more of our support as parents by attending to all meetings or being part of the PTA in order to give our input of what do we want for them to work on for the best of school and kids so our kids can see we are also part and care about their education. Overall i do recommend this school.Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Unidos Dual Language Charter School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the third year my daughter is enrolled in this school. The first two years were awesome. Teachers were great. If they had any issues or needed anything they would communicate with me. This year teachers are horrible. This is the third time they have changed principles and the front desk clerk is terrible!!! She is probably the worst person to deal with in the office. She has an attitude allll the time.Parent Review9y ago10 Reviews - St. John the Evangelist Catholic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSJE is a hidden gem, and I cannot recommend it enough! I came to discover SJE because of meeting graduating 8th graders, and it was immediately apparent to me how well prepared, bright, engaged, and polished representatives they were of the community. Part of SJE's philosophy is to "keep Christ at the center of all we do," and I sensed that at the cores of their characters upon meeting as well. My spouse and I both work in education, and our choices for PreK in our neighborhood did not provide us with confidence that our child was going to be prepared for Kindergarten with the necessary skills and knowledge. From the first prospective parent coffee, we knew that this was where we wanted to send him for PreK. Our decision has been reaffirmed at every turn -- every staff member has welcomed us in, knows my child by name (and personally!), and his teachers have been superb. The personal care and attention your child receives here cannot be overstated, the handwriting curriculum and communication are fantastic, and the faith formation is a wonderful added component that has led us as a family to be more intentional in our church attendance. Most certainly check it out! They are a warm, caring, welcoming, and thoughtful community. Because it is pretty small, it is refreshing for everyone to know you and to know your child very quickly.Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews
