8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't like how people are so rude to parents when it comes to their child especially a special needs child. They don't keep parents informed on how the child is doing and take forever to respond to parents. They have a bad system on releasing after school since they tried giving me someone else's child several times after I said no this is not my child.... Not happy at all... Do research before sending your child to this school especially a special needs child.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - South Columbia Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMoved new to the area last year and my daughter started at Steven's Creek. Coming from out of state from a nice newly built school with modern classrooms, I was disappointed by the building my child would spend her days. The first few months of school work came back with failing marks and then passing marks and then failing marks again. She dragged going to school in the morning. I about lost my mind trying to pinpoint if it was the school culture, the teacher, or just the out of state move, and then I received a note she tested into the gifted enrichment progm called Horizons. She agreed to give it a try, and now adores this school and asks to get dropped off early. The teachers were professionals in evaluating what was going on and changed the instruction so she is now motivated to learn and is learning a lot. Steven's Creek also has a lot of parents (and grandparents) who volunteer their time when asked and donate materials for classroom activities and projects.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - River Ridge Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here when I was younger and was bullied from 2nd grade until I moved to middle school. While I was not the best at communicating as a child the staff members often did noting to help the situation. There was clear favoritism with almost every class I was in. I understand that young girls tend to treat each other poorly; however this dose not excuse the treatment I and other girls my age at the time endured. The councilors often failed to help the children who needed it and much of the staff were very openly rude to children they didn’t like. While I have many grievances with the school it provided a good learning environment in most classes and many of the teachers put in the effort to teach each student they had well. I was a gifted student growing up and most of my teachers worked to challenge me and help me grow in a way that shaped who I am as a person now. I thank them for that. Overall this school taught me well when I was little, but while I did learn well I was not treated well and often felt like I didn’t fit in. The favoritism at this school also caused me and many other children to feel unimportant or ignored.Other Review4mo ago19 Reviews - Academics Plus

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI could write an entire dang essay on how horrible this place is. And I have!Unfortunately I'm kinda tired rn.All I'm gonna say is that this school is awful. My fifth grade teacher blatantly lied to my mom's face to stop himself from getting in trouble for refusing to listen to both sides of the story. That's only one thing..I was genuinely so depressed and anxious in this school..I started wondering if death would truly be so bad..These people blatantly make fun of the LGBTQ+ community. Yes. Including the teachers.Y'know? Your average "you're a horrible person if you dot worship God" type Christians.I can't even remember learning anything there..other than like..some math stuffI'm going to a new school, and I have already learned so much about cells, and other things like math and language arts. More than I ever could at that school. We hardly learned anything new. All I remember is learning some history (which I barely remember) and being bombarded with random assignments and projects that taught me nothing. Now that I've changed schools, I'm learning so much more, and my mental health has gotten so much better..!My parents insist that this school is helpful, but (not to toot my own horn) I'm pretty sure I'm just smartMostly bc of things like the fixies and..other educational showsI've learned more about the Bible from random YouTube shorts than this school. Pretty sure that says a lot in itself.Anyway don't come here. Please. PLEASE.Bye-bye :3 (I'm not a bot I swear)Other Review7mo ago10 Reviews - Columbia County Christian Academy
