My kids have loved attending Hawthorne and have learned and grown so much in their time there. The school is continuously improving, and I've only seen positive changes over the last 5 years. The Hawthorne community of parents, staff, and students is special and welcoming.

I had a horrible experience with this school, ever since my child was enrolled!

Oak Grove Elementary is beyond an exceptional school. The teachers are wonderful, engaged, and really care about the progress of the students. The parent volunteer community is strong and a powerful force behind the teachers and staff to add programs and events for the students. My kids have been at OGE for 5 years, and we have had a wonderful experience. I feel that OGE is giving my children a very strong educational foundation to build upon in the future.

Parent of a first grader here. We absolutely love Briarlake! I’ve been so impressed with the teachers, the administration, and the parent involvement at this school. My son is excited to go to school each day and is thriving both academically and socially. I feel so fortunate to have this as our neighborhood school.

What y’all did with the kids today for marching band 20 stars

I've recently been at this school for my whole entirety growing up here before moving on. This school basically taught me throughout my childhood with the acceptance of gratitude and growth. I'd just say that not all teachers are the best in terms of how they process through the learning environment, but at least try to match it up with them to make sure you understand every single basic knowledge that they have spoken out about. Enjoy.

The pre-k program is so wonderful. My child is thriving with these wonderful teachers. The principal cares deeply about the school. The teachers are excited to be there, responsive, and kind. My child has learned so much the past year!
