8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve been hesitant to write this review, but feel it could help those considering this school for their family. Our experience was a mixed bag. The teacher my son had was great, so no complaints there. I and my family took issue with the behavior (or lack there of) of the student population. The amount of focus the staff at Sixes had to put on behavior was insane. They should instead be focused on teaching/learning but that wasn’t possible to due to so many kids acting out and misbehaving. We have since sold our home in Bridgemill and moved to another attendance zone within Cherokee and it is night and day. My kid came home from his first day at his new school and said he could actually hear his teacher and all the other kids in his class were kind and respectful throughout the day. He was actually able to learn!Parent Review7mo ago19 Reviews - Liberty Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageToo much pressure about standardized testing. Too much teaching to the test. The teacher just all look miserable. High pressure for the teachers, the culture is intense. A lot of division amongst staff members administration does not know how to unify their teachers. Administration has falsified information or does not get the whole story and evaluate the situation improperly. Doesn't take the time to see the perspective of all the teachers quickly points fingers and changes stories. The administrator are not very supportive to their staff. They really need to reevaluate their administrators. I would not want to work for this administration again. Do not take the time to know my child as a student. My child was just a number. He scored high scores as a student there , but pulled him to another school and realized he actually had deficits. No one recognize my child's deficit and learning struggles while at this school. Elementary schools are not meant to be large institutions. The number of students at this school is too many. Elementary schools are better when they are smaller and class sizes are less. Way too big of an elementary school , carrying only about their number. Doesn't take the time to recognize all students.Because the too busy thinking about the bubble kids , a group of kids that will help them do well on the test and make them look good. All students should matter. And at this school , all students don't matter. Staff was way too uptight , front office staff was completely unfriendly. Too many high strung and intense staff members in the front building. When you don't have a warm welcome in the office. That's your warning that the school is not very friendly. To competitive and not enough humility or humbleness. Once again , I blame it on administration -too rigid.Other Review4mo ago26 Reviews - Park View Montessori

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough about Park View and the wonderful and amazing teachers and staff. One of my sons was having an extremely difficult time transitioning to pre-k. His teachers (even the teacher from his class that we moved him from) and staff listened to our concerns and were kind, empathetic and understanding to the difficulties he was having in school. They provided him with safe but strong boundaries to learn and grow. His teachers take the time to help him understand his mistakes and learn from them. I am in awe with the amazing things both my sons are learning, not only for their education but how to be kind human beings with empathy. I trust the talented educators here, and I was happy to be able to place my 3 month old son here too. AMAZING PLACE AND PEOPLE!!Parent Review2y ago12 Reviews - American Heritage Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am currently teaching a child who came from many successful years at AHA. His math background is woefully inadequate. His prerequisite skills are severly lacking. I don't know what they are teaching in high school math there, but their public school counterparts are far surpassing what is being done there.Other Review14y ago15 Reviews
