6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school may be fine for neurotypical students but if you have an ND kid, AVOID at all costs. They give mouth service to any accommodations asked for without really supporting your students, and punish your children for the smallest infractions without even bothering to find out if the children understood they were committing an infraction. They won't provide support unless you specifically ask for it, and you'd better know EXACTLY what you need to ask for or you won't get any help at all. Five years here and your children will hate school and believe that they are irredeemable troublemakers after being told how bad they are for five years.Parent Review7mo ago18 Reviews - Baker Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has only been at Baker for two years but we love it so much. My son loves learning and his teachers make him so excited to be there each day. After reading some of these old comments, it seems like it’s the typical people who complain about every little thing. No school is perfect, but the staff is top notch & admin is very nice.Parent Review1mo ago29 Reviews - Pitner Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBe very mindful when choosing a school for your children. It’s important to ensure the staff truly supports them and not the opposite. My experience with Jessica Appleyard as a principal has been incredibly disappointing. This experience has been heartbreaking and frustrating. The lack of compassion, transparency, and genuine care for my son’s well-being has been deeply disappointing. Parents, think carefully before sending your child here.Parent Review1y ago23 Reviews - Clark Creek Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children spent three awful years here. They started in 3rd and 2nd grade and stayed on through 5th and 4th grade. Over the course of these three years, they were frequently bullied, physically injured, and had their lives threatened. My son came home with a huge knot on his head, and we ended up taking him to urgent care to check for a concussion. We contacted the school, and nothing was done. He was also repeatedly kicked in the privates by a group of girls. When I spoke with administration, I was told that the girls were just flirting with him and that they didn't mean any harm. They show favoritism towards certain kids and ignore others that don't fit the typical mold of the school. They treat parents the same way. My daughter spent three years in a once-a-week pull-out class with a teacher that called her by the incorrect name for the entirety of those years, despite my daughter telling her the correct name several times. They also fail to notify parents that the after-school program is monitored by teenagers. This is where my children experienced the worst bullying, both verbal and physical. They would come home complaining that they notified the "teachers" (aka teenagers) about things and were either ignored or laughed at. My children had such a terrible experience here that we have decided to pull them from public school altogether.Parent Review9mo ago49 Reviews
