"We used to have an annual parade for Goldenrod, but has not occurred in many years. There is a lack a “center” specifically for Goldenrod. "

"The neighborhood is very nice, but you had to be careful, have to read the contract before you pay your deposit."

"I’ve lived here for 4 years, almost. It’s a quiet neighborhood despite the annoying fireworks. But people are nice. "

"this area is conveniently close to major highways and toll roads. traffic on Aloma can be hectic but if you know not to be in certain areas during heavy traffic times, not bad at all! "

"Rush hour is very real here, very congested roads since they are main commuter streets for Orlando. "

"Some people in the east brook neighborhood let their dogs run free in the front yard, and that’s not good for me and my dog, because my dog doesn’t react well to to that. 2/5 times this has happened to me, the owners did nothing to help break up the dog fight that was happening while I still had my dog on his leash. This one older Hispanic lady yelled at me because she claimed her dog had every right to run up to us because the sidewalk belonged to her. Even after I ended up in the street trying to drag my dog out of the fight. Unreal. "

"This is a great and inexpensive area located in the Winter Park zip code. I've lived in this area my whole life and have raised my son here. "

"I work in the theme park industry so mine isn’t really a fair estimate but traffic in the area is reasonable. There are two access points to toll roads and I4 is a straight shot down the main road. "

"Centrally located. The is a Walmart and Publix in any direction and the highways are close by so it’s easy to travel anywhere in Orlando. "

"I feel safe and comfortable in this neighborhood. In neighboring blocks I do see school aged children, but not many in my immediate area. Close to recreation and shopping areas, but still has a small town feel. "

"It is quiet, safe and most of all clean and friendly. The voting precinct is 1 mile or less away. With in 2 miles, Publix, Family Dollar Grocery and much much more! Several major up grades have been done in the past 5 years."

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 8 yo daughter took a very important test that would determine if she could be promoted to the next grade or be retained. She has ADD and gets distracted very easily. I received a phone call from one of her two teachers telling me she did not pass the test and she would be retained. She got the lowest score possible which made me question if she had even paid any attention to the test. When I asked her teachers they had no clue of her performance during the test. I was told they were not with her while she took the test but didn’t care to find out how she got the lowest score possible. I addressed my concern to them and their reply was to not reach out to them for the rest of the year and instead to reach out to administration. Zero commitment, dedication or accountability. If you are an advocate for your child’s education don’t enroll your child in this school. Note: The other staff were always great to me (front desk, nurse, principal assistant, and others).Parent Review1y ago17 Reviews - International Community School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageICS is much more than 'just a school'. It is a community of Believers that is brought together through the common bond of God's calling to be directly involved in not only their child's education, but most importantly in shaping and directing hearts towards Almighty God. The Biblical worldview serves to help young minds look for evidences of Him in every aspect of life. As Grandparents, we are very GRATEFUL that our Grand-Kiddos have had the privilege of making solid, Godly relationships that will serve, and encourage them for a lifetime.Other Review6y ago5 Reviews - Covenant Christian School
