1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school itself is good. The teachers are not personable it's January and I have yet to speak to any of my son's teachers even after asking for them to contact me. Also, the way the drop off and pick up is set is not very smooth with cars coming in at 2 different points. They have a woman standing at the crosswalk but I've never seen her cross any students in a timely manner but she will eat Reese's all the time. The principle has cut me off on numerous occasions and pulls into the parking lot like she is in the Indy 500 about 5 mins until 8, I'm not sure maybe she should leave a little earlier instead of driving like a mad woman. Other than that the school is ok. I'm am glad it will be my child's last year here.Parent Review4mo ago7 Reviews - Triangle Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is amazing! We began with kindergarten and ever since our child has grown immensely in the past three years. The kindergarten and first grade teacher are extremely loving and supportive and do a great job communicating with the parents. The principal has an open door and truly listens when we came in to discuss things with him. I am sure some people are offended because he always asks for parents to discuss issues with the teacher first, but he was supportive and sat in the meeting to help our student in second grade. The curriculum is advanced compared the other private schools our older children went to, but the faculty while small in number are huge in supporting students and families. They do not seem to have a resource teacher or people to do a lot of tutoring or behavior support, so it may not be a fit for everyone, but they seem honest and open about those limitations. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants a well-rounded education for their student with lots of opportunities in art, music, sports, and more. Lastly, the art program is amazing, make sure and check out their art night!Parent Review1y ago32 Reviews - Mount Dora Christian Academy
