"nobody bothers you. for most part only issues is kids like to play in street and the cars speed through. cars need to respect that children are children and live here."

"Not having sidewalks, people don’t pick up after their dogs when they use the restroom. There are also people that just let their dogs run around without a leash and you don’t know until you are walking your dog and get attacked. "

"This neighborhood is dangerous and not safe for single parents. Definitely watch your environment. Not a quiet neighborhood. You can hear gun shots in a regular."

"Arlington is a great commute to everywhere! I wouldn’t recommend it as somewhere to permanently call home, however, I have no complaints about the commute "

"There are no community events. I wouldn’t recommend this area. It’s a very high crime area and every summer there are too many break ins to keep track of. Break ins including homes and cars. "

"I have lived here for almost five years and all of the neighbors are friendly, the lawns are well kept, and you generally find kids playing outside. It’s a perfect neighborhood for families and couples. The location makes it easy to get to the beach, downtown, or the Town Center. It is a neighborhood I would highly recommend. "

"I lived in this neighborhood for 5 years no problem. I walk my dogs. I walk to the store. There is a community pool and a park two blocks away over all not a bad neighborhood young and old alike. "

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our second year at CTK. Overall, I have been very impressed with how they navigate the modern educational and social landscape. Our family is not Catholic, and I had not considered Catholic education an option until circumstances led me to a tour of CTK. Regardless of where you live, it is difficult to find a school that offers a high level of academic and social/emotional learning in a diverse setting. In Jacksonville, that seemed absolutely impossible until we stumbled across this school. I don't know how they manage to do that and achieve high marks on notoriously biased standardized tests, all while keeping tuition reasonable and bending over backward to make sure any family that wants to go to CTK can. While the academics are more challenging and aggressive than most of the schools we toured (and we have toured pretty much all of them), there is a good amount of support for differentiated learning. We have one disabled and one typical child- and they have both been served very well. They have been offered tools other schools (that charge more than 2x the tuition) have told us are out of reach due to "resources." There are things I would change about the school. But you won't regret putting this scrappy, happy community of educators and families diverse in thought, race, religion, and affiliations on your "to tour" list.Parent Review1y ago
