"this area is not popular for trick or treating and their aren’t a lot of children. Parks are well maintained but often empty. "

"Sidewalk throughout the neighborhood. Dogs walk on leash. People pick up their dogs poop. Never see roaming dogs!!!"

"A U-shaped Akers Drive help to keep this neighborhood quiet & family friendly. Kids can ride their bikes & neighbors can walk their dogs. Most families have lived here a long time. It's very convenient to shopping, I-295, the beaches, Dames Point bridge, & the beaches."

I absolutely love this elementary school! My daughter has been in attendance for 2 years now, and from teachers, to front office staff, to administration and the principal Mrs. Quarles-Gaston, I have nothing but positive things to say. My daughter loves all of her teachers, the principal Mrs. Gaston is a classy, kind, caring, and efficient lady. She’s truly a gem. The administrator Mr. Jack Hamilton is absolutely wonderful, funny, and kind. The coach of the children, lovingly dubbed coach “Co” is adored by my daughter and other students. It’s a really great school. The curriculum is Duval County approved, but the teachers do the best they can with that disaster. I can’t say enough good things about the principal, she has been so empathetic & efficient with my daughter and anything with which I have needed assistance. Short of private, or Montessori, there is nowhere else I would feel more comfortable sending my child for her elementary education. (I’m leaving a neutral response regarding the special needs program at the school because I do not have any experience in that program)
