"It is a good urban community with decent schools, lots of businesses, churches, and quick access to beaches. It’s relatively safe but you have to still be cautious. My neighbors are friendly. It has gotten increasingly costly over the last decade of living here but it’s still a good quality of life."

"Dirtbags who let their dogs out without a leash. Stray dogs everywhere. People have no sense of pride about their property. "

"Commute has to be by car in order to get around the city and to work. Public transportation is available as well but is not my preferred method. "

"The food trucks on Monday and the farmers market on Taft are great. The Hard-rock Casino and the new hotels and restaurants on Hollywood beach are bringing in a lot of traffic but Hollywood is great and have so much to do. Getting more costly to own a home though."

"The diverse people, walkable sidewalks, great shops and businesses nearby, and close distance to beaches and other recreational venues. Home prices have gone up but still affordable community to own in."

"That crime is not high but you still have to use common sense and be careful. I have lived here in BH for almost 10 years and love the location and all the readily accessible businesses "

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is in 1st grade. We were going to move to Cooper City for “better schools” we changed our mind and have decided to stay in the area. I have never seen so much engagement with the students. The teachers are the best. The Principal Mrs, Familia and the Assistant Principal Mrs. Gonzales are hands on. They are at dismissal everyday. They are fully available and engaged with the families. It’s a melting pot of cultures. Everyone feels welcome no matter where you come from. I Love being a Bob Cat mom. I’m excited for what the future holds for our students.Parent Review1y ago33 Reviews - Hollywood Park Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who have attended this school for the last four years. One is in first grade and has been there sinc Pre-K 3 and the other is currently in 5th grade. My oldest son has processing differences and I've found the teachers and staff to be very willing to make accommodations to help him succeed. The classroom size is limited to 22 per class. I love the sense of community, the loving and caring staff, and the high level of family involvement.Parent Review13y ago1 Reviews - Lycee Franco - American International School
