Old Fernandina

Love this school, it has a great way of getting the children excited about learning, the Teachers are very supportive emotionally and educationally, I'm glad I sent my daughter there, she never felt unsafe or unwelcome.

Florida is 50th in teacher pay, 49th in Average SAT at 948 (behind West Virginia at 919), national avg 1091. Fernandina avg is actually above FL avg at 1004 but below national average. FL state government cares more about banning books, dissolving unions, fighting CRT, restricting trans from changing their names or participating in sports, or using certain bathrooms, adding Christian religion and curriculum (Prager U), fighting the college board, and giving educational money to charter and private schools who can choose what students they accept.

We love SMA! A safe and nurturing environment with the best academics in town. Our daughters have thrived at SMA.
