4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m writing this for families who are trying to understand what this school is really like beyond the surface. My concerns at this school is the lack of a strong, visible leadership. Over years of time, ongoing issues related to communication, student behavior, and overall school climate continue without clear direction or consistent follow-through. The leadership is often presented as friendly, but transparency is limited and difficult to get when concerns are raised. There are also serious concerns regarding support for IST and ESE students (For two years currently). These students do not always appear to receive consistent instruction from certified teachers, which raises questions about the quality and equity of education being provided.Staff also appear to be unsupported, which directly impacts the classroom environment and student experience. When teachers and support staff are not backed by leadership, it becomes difficult to maintain consistency and accountability.School administrators put a stronger emphasis on attendance and test performance metrics over the overall well-being and individual educational needs of students. We should be asking about the effectiveness of leadership under Principal Reanna Boardway. When issues continue without resolution or transparency, it becomes difficult to trust that meaningful change is happening.Families deserve a school where leadership is proactive, communicative, and present. That standard does not consistently seem to be met here and is on a steep decline. I hope this brings awareness and encourages real improvement moving forward.Other Review1mo ago6 Reviews - Eustis Heights Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school itself is good. The teachers are not personable it's January and I have yet to speak to any of my son's teachers even after asking for them to contact me. Also, the way the drop off and pick up is set is not very smooth with cars coming in at 2 different points. They have a woman standing at the crosswalk but I've never seen her cross any students in a timely manner but she will eat Reese's all the time. The principle has cut me off on numerous occasions and pulls into the parking lot like she is in the Indy 500 about 5 mins until 8, I'm not sure maybe she should leave a little earlier instead of driving like a mad woman. Other than that the school is ok. I'm am glad it will be my child's last year here.Parent Review4mo ago7 Reviews - Triangle Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the worst attendant officers I have ever dealt with. Whether it’s trying to pick up my kid from robotics and them not having a clue where to pick him up at or even what active is going on. To calling ahead to pick up my son from school for a dentist appointment that I was rejected to pick up my son in order to hop in at the car rider line, and wait another hour. with no information beforehand about no picking up after 2:30pm. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBlue Lake Academy is closing its doors after 15+ years of operation due to the economy resulting in low enrollment. This school has been the best Christian school in Lake County and it is heartbreaking to see it close. The administration, teachers, and staff are excellent in their qualifications and in their practice. They love the Lord and model it daily as they execute an excellent curriculum bringing their unique giftedness to the classroom. Blue Lake families loved and supported each other. It was an extended, close knit family. This school will be missed by all past students, present students, and students that should have had the opportunity to experience Blue Lake. Our school has been Christ to this community and will be dearly remembered and sadly missed.Parent Review15y ago3 Reviews - Liberty Christian Prep

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is amazing! We began with kindergarten and ever since our child has grown immensely in the past three years. The kindergarten and first grade teacher are extremely loving and supportive and do a great job communicating with the parents. The principal has an open door and truly listens when we came in to discuss things with him. I am sure some people are offended because he always asks for parents to discuss issues with the teacher first, but he was supportive and sat in the meeting to help our student in second grade. The curriculum is advanced compared the other private schools our older children went to, but the faculty while small in number are huge in supporting students and families. They do not seem to have a resource teacher or people to do a lot of tutoring or behavior support, so it may not be a fit for everyone, but they seem honest and open about those limitations. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants a well-rounded education for their student with lots of opportunities in art, music, sports, and more. Lastly, the art program is amazing, make sure and check out their art night!Parent Review1y ago32 Reviews - Nonschool Exceptional Education
