I have constantly have told teachers that I am concerned with my child’s academics since the first marking period and they agree they need intervention. It’s almost the end of the year and they still have not set up even an evaluation. My child is struggling and none of them have been helping them. If I can transfer my child next year, I will be

GMS is a school where student go to grow and excel academically as well as become connected on a Spiritual level with the Lord. This is not a school for "just Mennonites." Although the school was originally started by a group of charter members who broke apart from the public school because they decided that they could not pledge allegiance to the American flag, rather they will only pledge allegiance to Christ, our Savior. Recently, under new administration, GMS has taken great strides to become a more competitive school academically. GMS offers students K-12 with courses such as chorus, computer, Home Economics, PE, and more, including the math, science, social studies, and language arts courses that are common for students to be studying. During the month of January high school students are offered a break from normal classes and are allowed to choose from several options for the term. Options include but are not limited to: missions trips, local work projects, photography, art, etc. The school wants to see each and every student come to a lasting relationship with the Lord. The school's verse comes from Psalm 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light for my path."
