NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children were here from PK3-2nd grade. This school has definitely exceeded expectations on all levels. My boys were given the best foundation for success since the first day. The school offers many specials including strings lessons (viola, violin, or cello) starting in 1st grade. The staff at OE front office, nurse and teachers are exceptional. If your child needs extra reading support, coaching or challenging the staff at OE is very responsive to your child’s needs. The leadership team at OE is one to be benchmarked. My boys will continue to love, cherish and remember their OE days for ever. Thank you OE for an amazing 5 years!Parent Review3y ago7 Reviews - Poquonock Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis schools is amazing , and it starts from the very top . The principal in my opinion sets a safe and fun environment for all the students and the teachers there follow suite . They truly care for the students and it shows . I have 3 children that are currently attending and they don't want to miss a day of school because of how much they enjoy learning and socializing with the teachers and other students .Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - St Gabriel School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. Gabriel School in Windsor has small class size and great curriculum. Our first daughter learn from zero reading to fast reader, zero math to exceeding expectations (she is grade 1 but able to solve on grade 3 math now) and we are signing up our 3 years old in this academic year 2025/2026. We are very particular about measurement, they have IXL program for the progress and test, my first daughter now is above 95% national for reading and math. Here are things we like about St. Gabriel:1. Small class which has enable detailed attention to what students need (social, academic, emotional, motivation). 2. Fun class curriculum (not boring one), they always have great activities included during the class such as teamwork game, class pet, bubbles time, raise butterfly, gardening, performances, etc. 3. Beside the academic STEM, they also have arts, language, and sports as part of the learning program. 4. The teachers - parent communication are very great and fast response. Each student has folder to bring home for the activity they did, include the communication teacher - parent. They also have DOJO apps, they send weekly school and class news. I always have concern with my first daughter which shy type, the teacher really listened well and her social skills now way improved, she is now not feeling scared to engaging to play with her friends.Parent Review10mo ago11 Reviews
