Avon is so lucky to have a 5-6 school. TBS does a great job preparing students for middle school. It is a great bridge between elementary and middle. 5th grade is similar to elementary while the 6th grade offers closer to a middle school vibe. The teachers and admins really care about their students. The students follow a rigorous curriculum, but there is still recess and fun during the day. The school also offers some afterschool classes and activities, including a phenomenal musical theater show. The music program is also strong with kids able to explore band, strings and chorus.

This principle does not listen to parents and sweeps issues like bullying and bus safety under the rug. If your child has any sort of special education needs, turn the other way and go to a different school!

For Christmas I would like to buy my grandson some of the books he will need next year when he is in the 2nd grade. Can someone please provide me with some titles? I would really appreciate it! My son and daughter-in-law tell me that The Union School is an excellant school! Thanks!

Love it here! Spectacular community, love the teachers. They do a great job of entwining kindness and respect into the curriculum.

WWUES is a great school because it lets kids show their spirit during spirit days. The teachers are committed to teaching. The school needs better lunches and lunch monitors.

Great school. The facilities and professionals are the best around.
