Avon is so lucky to have a 5-6 school. TBS does a great job preparing students for middle school. It is a great bridge between elementary and middle. 5th grade is similar to elementary while the 6th grade offers closer to a middle school vibe. When moving to the Hartford area, we read that Avon had among the best schools - and while this may be true in this area, those coming from out-of-state may be disappointed. Not great. They also didn’t put my son in the because he told them someone was picking up. The school received no parental approval

Poor. Worst school in the Avon system. Lots of bullying and ineffective leadership not stopping or preventing it.
