My daughter just graduated from Franklin Academy after 4 years at this amazing little school. I sent her here from Georgia after doing research for a boarding school that would support my child with her very different learning style and her autism. The schools here in GA would not give her an IEP because her test scores were too high, but she was having really painful social problems and was a very stressed-out, awkward little girl. At Franklin, she started slowly, cautiously, and by year 3, she was thriving in this community. She was supported, accommodated, loved, and transformed from a very emotionally dysregulated, rigid-thinking child into a leader and explorer. Her executive functioning skills are so good, I take notes from her! She was awarded a wonderful scholarship from a very prestigious private college that I never in my wildest dreams thought she could handle academically - until Franklin showed her what she could become. The staff works tirelessly to help these kids be the best they can be. I will forever be grateful to this faculty and staff. Thank you for my star.
