2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a past student here and if you ask me this school IS NOT a good one. The students were very toxic usually starting drama with one another and staff was very bad at handling it. A good 3 teachers actually handled problems and did the right thing most of them were just passive aggressive. The lunch was not appetizing it had made me puke a couple times which is already offputting. The teachers are quite rude and immature. most of them got angry at students but didn’t tell them how to improve themselves and they never fixed students drama. it was usually whoever they think messed up would just go in their Office and the staff member would just go in there and scream at them which is absolutely ridiculous. they did a couple things good but for the most part they really didn’t do anything. I don’t think this school is the one for students especially not elementary. I don’t want to seem rude while typing this but I really need to leave this review just to say I didn’t like it thereOther Review2mo ago15 Reviews - Montessori Academy Of Colorado

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been a MAC family for five years, and both of our children are still at the school. Our experience is specific to Lower School (i.e. Kinder and below); however we are seriously considering MAC for 1st and beyond. When I drop my kids off at MAC every day, I am 100% confident that they are receiving the best care and support that we can find in the metro Denver area. For our family, academics are important, yes - but raising a kind human being who can think critically for themselves and about their environments and the people in them - that's where we place our emphasis, and that is what MAC is helping us to do. The teachers encourage curiosity, self expression and independence. Bullying is not tolerated (nor does it seem that most kids at MAC even know what that is, thankfully). Children are met where they are in their own individual learning curve. We are constantly surprised by what our five-year-old knows, and can't believe the social-emotional growth in our two-year-old. Our family understands that independent schools around the country face challenges in providing education at a level that is affordable and accessible to the market. MAC is not immune to these challenges. However, I trust the leadership to make the right decisions for the school, and I can say that if you show up in this community - attending community meetings, asking the Head of School to get coffee, becoming a parent ambassador - you will feel a sense of belonging and understanding (at least, we do!)Parent Review1mo ago41 Reviews
